Princess
Asian-USA 2006 Bich Lien, a Glowing Flower of Vietnamese
community in America |
There are many
pretty multitalented Vietnamese ladies with many traits and
proficiency not only in their jobs with well known public
image, but also resourceful in their home chores in America.
However, not all of us known an island named Phu Quoc at the
most southern tip of South Vietnam, surrounded by the blue
ocean is the hometown of Ms. Bich Lien Vo, Pricess Asian-USA
2006, whom se has also been recognized in the Vietnamese
community for nearly 20 years.On October 23rd,
2005 in Venezuela, while millions of people took the pleasure in
the coronation of Miss World Pageant, the most beautiful girl of
Venezuela, in Hollywood, California, the capital of movies
industry of America, the organization of Miss & Mrs. Asian
Pageant has chosen Miss Bich Lien Vo as the crowning winner for
the title of Princess Asian-USA 2006. |

This is not the
first time Ms. Elizabeth Bich Lien Vo of Phu Quoc island
has own such a beautiful title, the most fairy lady of the
realm! Let's go back in times through her biography that would
enlighten our admiration of her achievements. During the
interview of the Cultural Magazine (Van Hoa magazine), Bich Lien
revealed:
"As you have all
known, in 1986 Bich Lien had the honor to receive the title of
Miss Ao Dai (traditional dress of Vietnamese Ladies) of the
state of Kansas; ten years later after emigrated to San Jose of
northern California in 1996, once again Bich Lien was chosen as
the first runner up of Ms. Pageantry in the honoring ceremony of
Vietnamese Women. In 2004, Bich Lien was crowned as the Mrs.
Vietnamese of California 2004 in the city of Rosemaid and this
time, indeed, it is an honor for Bich Lien to receive the
crowning title of Princess Asian-USA 2006".

Vietnamese-American Community, however that have you been

"Bich Lien has
graduated in dermatology and skin care in schools of France,
Italy, Germany, and Japan. Graduated of Make-up artistry in
Hollywood, Master of Sciences and Associated Arts in Business
Management. Currently, Bich Lien is the lecturer of two beauty
schools, the International Beauty College of the northern and
southern California, founder and chief organizer of Mrs. Pageant
of Northern California since 1999, and also the Founder and CEO
of EVPRINCESS COSMETIC Inc.,"the most
honoring was the selection as the Vietnamese Business woman
of 2004 and the invitation to be in the gala dinner with
President George W. Bush in April 2005. Above all, Bich Lien
has continuing worked in professional capacity in
dermatology and make up artist for 17 years. Was selected as
the best professional and

specialist of beauty manufacturers
such as Christian Dor and Channel at Macy's and Nordstrom
outlet. In addition, she also has been the makeup artist for
many contestants in Miss Vietnamese Traditional Dress,
Model, Miss International Pageant (IMVP), Miss Asian America
in San Francisco and Miss Vietnamese Traditional Dress at
Fairground in New Year's Festival in San Jose. Also, Bich
Lien has been a member of the judge-ship panel and the chief
judge of Miss Vietnam-USA, Miss Little Saigon-San Francisco,
Mrs. Vietnam in Los Angeles, Miss Asian-America
San-Francisco and Miss Vietnamese Traditional Dress in the
new year's TET festival at the county Fairground in San
Jose.
Those are some
personal accomplishments of Princess Asian-USA 2006, Bich Lien
Vo, nevertheless, when asked by Van Hoa Magazine on her
conception of beauty, she responded: "well ... the woman who is
beautiful represents not only the beauty in a physical senses
but also the gracefulness of the heart & mind. That is my
visualization of the beauty. The beauty that needs to have the
kindness with the elegance that would permeate a long lasting
and striking of the uniqueness in the heart and mind of the
admirers".What is the inner
beauty?

Could it be the cultural and social activities that you
have contributed for so many years? Bich Lien revealed: "In most
of community events in Nothern California, Bich Lien has
participated and contributed in many capacities & areas as long
as those activities bring about benefits to our Vietnamese
Community".In an article of
Saigon USA, it stated: "Elizabeth Bich Lien has bee a favorite
hose of Silicon Valley and much loved in selected musical
programs as well as the distinctive MC (Master of Ceremony) of
various entertainment showcase, fundraising, poetic and new
music opening release events in the community. She has shown her
passionate towards the unfortunates and sharing to the people
during hard times. Further, she has contributed greatly to the
Vietnamese New Year Festival, Children Moon Festival, boat
people in Philipine, flood victims in Vietnam

and many other
unfortunate victims."Thoi Bao News of
San Jose mentioned: "Bich Lien pageantry has given out the
harmonious in all relationships, she has won the love of people
she as met. In 2004, she was a big success and with so many
recognition of achievements from the city, the state and federal
elected officials. We asked that with those achievements
and recognitions would she feels she's a Vietnamese has made it
in America? Without a pause, Bich Lien expressed that "what she
has today is the results of the love from the community and try
her best effort in all activities and with her good luck too!
Really, Bich Lien is just a woman likes other thousands
Vietnamese women in America and without love and support from
the community and her family, she could not achieve this much
recognition."
In the Tin Viet
News, an article mentioned that the crowning ceremony in Royal
City restaurant, Milpitas, in 2004, Bich Lien in her thank you
remarks has illustrated her poise and with her skillful
diplomacy that united the two local Vietnamese communities.
Beyond her
contributions to Vietnamese community and without taking the
consideration of Bich Lien business skills and success, it would
not be complete in her story. Currently, she's the owner of
business establishments such as Bich Lien Beauty Center in
Milpitas, San Jose, Sacramento, California and in Houston, Texas
with her special skincare product line called Evprincess.
With much success
when asked Princess Asian-USA 2006 Bich Lien on her wish list
right now, she said "as always, Bich Lien wishes that god would
given her her protection that makes her strong and healthy for
she still has much works in her businesses as well as the desire

community in America and all over the world." She believed her
products are especially good for Asian skin protection & they
